摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress battery performance deterioration due to variations in charging capacity among a plurality of nickel hydrogen secondary batteries constituting a stationary storage battery.SOLUTION: A stationary power storage system comprises: a stationary storage battery constituted of nickel hydrogen secondary batteries; and a controller which repeats charging and discharging by using an external power source for power supply to a load, stops discharging to the load when SOC of any one of the nickel hydrogen secondary batteries becomes a first threshold value, and stops charging from the external power source when SOC of any one of the nickel hydrogen secondary batteries becomes a second threshold value. The controller does not stop charging in the case where SOC of any one of the nickel hydrogen secondary batteries becomes the second threshold value, and while allowing any other nickel hydrogen secondary battery than a nickel hydrogen secondary battery having the lowest SOC to be charged to a full charging capacity over the second threshold value, the controller performs additional charging to the entire stationary storage battery in such a manner that SOC of the nickel hydrogen secondary battery having the lowest SOC becomes equal to or more than the second threshold value.
