PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle with an automatic transmission which provides acceleration of the vehicle when a driver who wants to accelerate the vehicle switches from an economy mode injection control to a normal mode injection control.SOLUTION: A vehicle 10 with an automatic transmission includes the automatic transmission 15, a variable speed control means 18, a fuel injection control means 19 capable of performing a normal mode injection control and an economic mode injection control which suppresses an injection amount of fuel as compared to the normal mode injection control and a switching switch 26. The variable speed control means 18 is configured such that, when such an intention of a driver as to accelerate the vehicle is detected and the switching from the economic mode injection control to the normal mode injection control is performed, the automatic transmission 15 is subjected to downshift. A driver intention detection means is an accelerator sensor 24 and the variable speed control means 18 is configured such that a detection output of the accelerator sensor 24 which exhibits the stepping-on of the predetermined amount or more of an accelerator pedal 11 is set as the intention of the driver who accelerates the vehicle. |
