PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power regulator whose power consumption is suppressed.SOLUTION: The power regulator according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a first converter for converting a first DC voltage supplied from an external power supply into a second DC voltage; an inverter which converts the second DC voltage into an AC voltage and outputs it to external wiring so as to keep power received by the external wiring from a system power supply in a predetermined range; and an energy management unit which stops operation of the first converter and the inverter at a time predetermined based on the magnitude of load power consumed by a load connected to the external wiring.
