A prediction means selection unit 113b acquires, for each of the multiple prediction means, an error between the previously predicted amount of electric power and an amount of electric power actually consumed in the past unit time, and selects one or more prediction means from the multiple prediction means, on the basis of change with time of the error. A unit 114 for acquiring a currently predicted amount of electric power acquires, using the history data of the amount of electric power and the selected one or more prediction means, the currently predicted amount of electric power predicted to be consumed in the unit time including a present moment.
