PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a long PTC heater 1 with positive temperature coefficient characteristics, capable of avoiding the generation of peeling between a feeder line 3 and a chip-like heating element 2 formed of a resin composition containing conductor powder, even when repeated bending is made to act thereon or even when large bending with an angle, such as from 90 degrees to 180 degrees, is locally made to act thereon.SOLUTION: A chip-like heating element formed of a resin composition containing conductor powder is used as a heating element 2 with positive temperature coefficient characteristics, and a plurality of the chip-like heating elements are mechanically and electrically connected and fixed, via a metal terminal 4, to a feeder line 3 with an appropriate interval between the heating elements to obtain a long heating unit 20. The whole is sealed in an insulating member 5. |
