PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device that cuts a work without an influence of a hit mark occurring when cutting the work.SOLUTION: A cutting device 1 comprises: a carrying mechanism 2 that carries a long plate-like work 8 along a carrying route in a longitudinal direction L of the work 8; a cutting blade 15 that is provided on one surface of the work 8 on the carrying route and cuts the work in the width direction; a long plate-like protective sheet 18 that is provided on the other surface of the work 8 on the carrying route and holds the work 8 between the cutting blade 15 and the sheet; a receiving member 4 that supports the protective sheet 18 when cutting the work 8; and a guiding member 5 that guides the protective sheet 18 in a direction different from the carrying route of the work 8 on at least one side of front and back sides of the receiving member 4. |
