PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate glass processing device capable of estimating a condition of a plate glass or a condition of a processing tool.SOLUTION: The plate glass processing device comprises: a first processing tool B that is provided movably on a first side end face A1 of a plate glass A and processes the first side end face A1; a first pressing-force generating element 110 that energizes the first processing tool B to the first side end face A1 to generate pressing force; and first measurement means 120 for measuring position information of the first processing tool B. Further, the plate glass processing device preferably comprises: data generation means 121 that generates first waveform data showing a position information pattern of the first processing tool B relative to time on the basis of the measurement result by the first measurement means 120; storing means 122 that pre-stores at least one reference data showing predetermined position information of the first processing tool B relative to time; and determination means that verifies the first waveform data with the at least one reference data to determine the condition of the plate glass A and/or the first processing tool.
