The device has a strip (2) indicating that a tap (7) is not open by horizontality. The strip is welded with a ring (3), which freely turns around a rod (5). A notch (4) in the rod enables axial attaching of the ring with the rod. A split ring (6) is fixed on a body of the tap. A slit (8) of the split ring is formed horizontal in a diagnosis position of the tap. A cut side (9) is machined in the slit of the split ring towards a wheel (1) of the tap. A degree of opening of the tap is displayed by obliqueness of the strip abutting against the cut side.
