An object of the present invention is to provide an anti-human CTGF antibody having excellent binding activity and/or neutralizing activity, as compared with conventional anti-human CTGF antibodies, and means for preventing or treating various diseases in which human CTGF is involved in pathogenesis, including renal diseases such as chronic kidney disease and diabetic nephropathy, using the anti-human CTGF antibody.
