PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid fatty acid composition comprising high levels of liquid long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid and without addition of exogenous emulsifiers or other types of thickeners.SOLUTION: This invention provides methods for producing a solid fat acid composition comprising the steps of mixing an oil comprising liquid long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid with an oil comprising saturated fatty acid, solidifying the mixture, and forming a solid fat acid composition.
