<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calking jig which is used when steel pipe piles are connected to one another with use of a joint for the steel pipe pile.SOLUTION: A calking jig includes a contact part 40 having a substantially U-shaped planar shape which can be so installed as to cover an external cylinder 12 of a joint 10 and is movable in a direction orthogonal to an axis of the external cylinder 12. The contact part 40 has a calking claw 39 on an inner wall of the U-shaped part, in which the calking claw 39 comes into contact with a securing pin 22 inserted in a corresponding through hole 20 of the external cylinder 12 and calks a marginal part of the through hole 20. The calking jig is equipped with: a body part 34 which has a slit 42 formed in a side wall part in such a manner that movement thereof is not prevented by the securing pins 22 inserted in other through holes 20, and an engaging part 44; and an actuator part 32 which is detachably provided to the engaging part 44 of the body part 34 and includes a pressure part 50 having a calking claw 51 at a rod 48 end of a hydraulic cylinder 47, in which the claw 51 is positioned on the side of the body part 34 opposite to the contact part 40, is in contact with the securing pin 22 inserted in the through hole 20, and calks the marginal part of the through hole 20.</p> |
