PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an admixture for soil improvement capable of efficiently preventing elution to the environment with hexavalent chromium for a relatively long term when soil improvement is conducted by using a concrete waste material, and to provide a soil improvement method.SOLUTION: There is provided an admixture for soil improvement having a molded body containing a binder and at least one kind of hexavalent chromium elution-decreasing component selected from a group consisting of an adsorbent, an insolubilization material and a reductant, and used with a concrete waste material.
