A colouring device having two major parts (1, 2) defining an internal compartment containing a plurality of drawing implement tethers or cords. At least one of the parts has a handle (4). The device is preferably rectangular, having a shallow depth and a clamshell design. Ideally each part is of equal depth and both have a handle (4). Preferably the device is made from plastics. The device may have a closure means which may be a tolerance fit. The tethers comprise a flexible or elastic body (11) and an attached implement attachment means (12). The attachment means may be a tubular cap, may comprise an elastic tether, and may further have a tether on a reel. The implement attachment means may comprise an internal engagement mechanism or a screwthread. The device may have a displaceable tray (5). Ideally the device is for childrens crayons. |
