BUILT-UP AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS FOR A DATA CENTER

The present invention provides a built-up air conditioner for a data center in which a communication device is installed inside, which includes a main body of an air conditioner; temperature/humidity sensors provided at the inside of the main body of the air conditioner and a working space, respectively, to detect temperatures and humidity of inside air, outside air, and mixed air; a pressure sensor detecting the pressure of the outside air, the inside air, or the mixed air discharged from the main body of the air conditioner; a ventilating duct absorbing air in the working space to supply the air to an inlet of inside air or to discharge the air to the outside through an outlet in communication with the outside; a return supply unit including a discharge damper provided at the outlet to control a degree of opening of the outlet; a supply unit supplying the outside air, the inside air, or the mixed air discharged from the inlet/outlet of the main body of the air conditioner to the inside; a first air blower disposed at an upper surface of an air absorbing flow passage to forcibly move the introduced inside air and outside air to the inlet/outlet; an air blowing unit and a temperature/humidity sensor including a second air blower provided at the return supply unit to forcibly discharge the absorbed inside air to the outlet; and a control unit controlling an outside air damper, an inside air damper, the discharge damper, and the air blowing unit according to information received from the pressure sensor, and the temperature/humidity sensors. Therefore, the accuracy of the control is improved by not only performing the control based on temperature but also performing the control based on pressure, so the difficulty of obtaining an accurate data, which occurs in a conventional situation where only the temperature was used for a control, is compensated.
