The present invention is to discharge air remained in pilot oil applied to convert the spool of a control valve for controlling the flowing direction of hydraulic fluid supplied to a hydraulic actuator. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the control valve for hydraulic construction equipment is installed on a path between a hydraulic pump and the hydraulic actuator and controls the operation of the hydraulic actuator by opening or closing the path while an internal first spool is moved by the pressure of the pilot oil supplied from a pilot pump. A spool cap is installed in the end of a valve block of the control valve and has a pressure chamber to which the pilot oil for pressing and moving the first spool is supplied. The pressure chamber is communicated with the outside through a through-hole formed on the spool cap. A plug is thread-coupled to the through-hole. A gap is formed between the through-hole and the screw coupling part of the plug. Thus, the control valve can discharge the air remained in the pilot oil to the outside through the gap.
