[Class 52 (ii)] In order to secure covers of the bedclothes in position a strip 17 having upstanding tines 18 is placed on the mattress support 10 at the foot thereof, which tines 18 are adapted to penetrate the tucked-in covers and into the mattress 13. The strip 17 is preferably semi-rigid and is secured to the mattress support 10, which may be of the box-spring type or open springs, by clips which embrace the strip, are adjustable thereon and are provided with lateral spikes for penetrating the cover of, say, a box spring.</p> |
