<p>An apparatus and a method for treating ballast water of a ship with carbonate anions are provided to maintain cleanliness of a ballast tank, reduce installation and facility costs with respect to the treatment apparatus, and allow the treatment apparatus to be installed on an operating ship, thereby seek economic efficiency. An apparatus for treating ballast water of a ship with carbonate anions comprises: a ballast tank(110); an acidic ion water producer(120) acidifying seawater(ballast water) filled in the ballast tank to supply acidic ion water; a carbon dioxide bubble generator(130) generating micro-bubbles from carbon dioxide within the ballast tank filled with seawater; a pressure maintenance valve(140) increasing pressure in the ballast tank to carbonate the carbon dioxide by reacting seawater with carbon dioxide supplied into the bubbles within the ballast tank; and a catalyst adder(150) supplying a catalyst of a carbonic anhydrase enzyme. The acidic ion water producer is embedded in a ballast water supply pipe(160) connected to the ballast tank. The carbon dioxide bubble generator receives carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide tank(170) to generate the bubbles.</p> |
