<p>The lambda actual value in exhaust gas of cylinders is determined as measurement value to determine fuel amount reference values. A cylinder suspected error for corresponding cylinder of cylinder bank is determined when amounts of fuel exceeds fuel amount reference values. The query to determine whether lambda for suspect cylinder is higher than lambda absolute threshold or whether lambda control value of lambda controller for suspect cylinder is higher than manipulated variable absolute threshold is detected when cylinder suspected error is determined. An independent claim is included for internal combustion engine.</p> |
