<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for allowing a user to make an exposure setting quickly by enabling a function to automatically shift an exposure condition simply when a photographic condition is encountered in which an appropriate exposure setting cannot be obtained under an exposure condition manually set by the user.SOLUTION: Provided is an image pickup device having photographic parameter setting means in which a plurality of values settable in a photographic parameter such as an iris value, shutter speed, etc., are mono-dimensionally arranged, wherein the image pickup device is characterized in that an icon indicating that a function for automatically shifting an exposure condition is enabled when an appropriate exposure cannot be obtained with the value of the photographic parameter manually set as a result of exposure calculation and the function is not enabled, is disposed immediately before or after the value of the photographic parameter which was manually set when the exposition calculation was performed and in a direction in which exposure deviates from the appropriate exposure.</p> |
