A wireless communication apparatus comprises: a BBIC for performing a baseband signal processing; an RFIC for performing a high frequency signal processing; and a crystal oscillator. The RFIC comprises: a storage unit that holds an adjustment value to be used for adjusting a clock frequency based on the oscillation frequency of the crystal oscillator and that outputs the adjustment value when a reset is released from an active state; a frequency adjustment unit that adjusts the clock frequency in accordance with the adjustment value; and an RF signal processing unit that performs the high frequency signal processing in accordance with the clock.
