PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine having low vibration and low noise.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes a first vibration-proof damper 25 which is provided on a direction side in which a rotary drum 17 rotates and which is disposed in a position nearer to a front side than the center of gravity G of a water tub unit 37, and a second vibration-proof damper 26 which is disposed in a position nearer to a back side than the center of gravity G of the water tub unit 37, in a dewatering step. A housing connection part 34 in which the first vibration-proof damper 25 and the second vibration-proof damper 26 are connected is mounted on a washing machine housing 23 via a third buffer material A38 and a third buffer material B39. In the third buffer material A38, a protrusion 38a having substantially the same shape as a bottom shape of the housing connection part is provided on an outer peripheral part. Vibration of the water tub unit 37 is damped in a front-back and right-left direction as well by the third buffer material A38 and the third buffer material B39, and generation of abnormal sound by the rotation of the vibration-proof damper and a load on the vibration-proof damper are reduced, so that low vibration and low noise can be achieved. |
