PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve cargo handling efficiency by promoting the inflow of a cargo handling object when sucking up the cargo handling object by a suction nozzle, in a pneumatic unloader.SOLUTION: A pneumatic unloader 1 handles a cargo by sucking and carrying particulate matter, and comprises a vertical expansion/contraction pipe 9 extended substantially vertically and expanding and contracting by operation of a vertical expansion/contraction device 15, a suction nozzle 11 connected to the tip of the vertical expansion/contraction pipe 9 and inserted into the particulate matter being a carrying object and a controller 25 for controlling the operation of the vertical expansion/contraction device 15. The controller 25 controls the operation of the vertical expansion/contraction device 15 so as to change an insertion amount A and a speed in the particulate matter of the suction nozzle 11 by vertically moving the suction nozzle 11. |
