PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacking correction device and method capable of smoothly conveying a pallet while placing as many workpieces as possible on the pallet and moving the workpieces so as to be stored in a stacking area with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: Drive mechanisms 12 (12A, 12B) of a stacking correction device 10 executes: first correction operation for moving a pressing body 11 (11A) from the outside of a first corner part C1 of a stacking area A2 toward the stacking area A2 in an inclination direction P1 so that side faces of multiple workpieces 100 are pressed on a crosswise alignment surface 13 and a lengthwise alignment surface 14; and second correction operation for moving a pressing body 11 (11B) from the outside of a second corner part C2 of the stacking area A2 that is an opposite corner of the first corner part C1 toward the stacking area A2 in an inclination direction P2 so that side faces of the multiple workpieces 100 are pressed on a crosswise alignment surface 13 and a lengthwise alignment surface 14. |
