PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast processing apparatus which is flexibly adapted to the size and shape of a workpiece and enables stable blast processing, and to provide a blast processing method.SOLUTION: A blast processing apparatus according to one embodiment comprises: a nozzle; a moving mechanism; and a weight. The nozzle jets a blast material. The moving mechanism reciprocates the nozzle along a track. The weight cancels out vibrations resulting from the reciprocating movement of the nozzle. A blast processing method according to one embodiment comprises the steps of: jetting the blast material from the nozzle; reciprocating the nozzle along the track and thereby manufacturing a blast processing object; and cancelling out the vibrations resulting from the reciprocating movement of the nozzle with the weight.
