<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of a running and driving unit and downsize the entire body of the running and driving unit.SOLUTION: A running and driving unit 31 that applies driving force to front wheels 2 and rear wheels 4 of a wheel loader 1 is configured of a casing 32, a drive motor 33, a drive shaft 34, a drive shaft gear 35, an output shaft 37, an output shaft gear 38, an assist motor 39, an assist shaft 40, an assist shaft gear 41 and so on. The drive motor 33 is configured of an electric motor, and the assist motor 39 is configured of a hydraulic motor. This makes it possible that a hydraulic circuit to supply and drain hydraulic fluid to/from the assist motor 39 is the only hydraulic circuit provided in the running and driving unit 31. This results in the downsizing of the entire body of the running and driving unit 31. During the inertial running of the wheel loader 1, the drive motor 33 generates power by inertial rotation to perform electric energy conversion by energy conversion means 21.</p> |
