PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which can improve drainage of water condensed by a fan. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger includes: a plurality of flat tubes 1 of which a longitudinal direction is the vertical direction and which is arranged in parallel one another with intervals; a pair of headers which connect with both ends of the plurality of flat tubes 1, respectively; and a fin joined between the adjacent flat tubes 1. A waste channel 11 is formed along the longitudinal direction on a surface of the flat tube 1. The fin is inclined to slope from a windward side into a leeward side of air flow passing through the fin, and is arranged so that an end of the leeward side of a joint with the flat tube 1 comes into contact with an end of the windward side of the waste channel 11.
