<p>An article is disclosed that includes a substrate (50) having a first surface (52) and a second surface (54) and a coating (58) disposed on the second surface (54). In addition, the article includes an angled trench (12) at least partially defined in the coating (58). The angled trench (12) may include a bottom surface (66), a first sidewall (68) and a second sidewall (70) disposed downstream of the first sidewall (68). The first and second sidewalls (68, 70) may extend from the bottom surface (66) at an angle (72, 74) of less than about 60 degrees. Moreover, the article may include a plurality of holes (14) defmed between the first surface (52) and the bottom surface (66).
