A mechanical seal device having a stationary sealing ring attached in close contact to a seal cover, a rotating sealing ring having a counter seal face in close contact with the seal face, and a fixing part having a first fixed ring holding the rotating sealing ring and a second fixed ring fitting in close contact with the rotary shaft and having a bellows surrounding the rotary shaft, having one end connected with the first fixed ring, and having another end connected with the second fixed ring, one seal face of the seal face and the counter seal face having fluid introduction ports for introducing the sealed fluid to the seal face at the circumferential surface at the sealed fluid side and the other seal face having dimples, or one seal face having the fluid introduction ports and the dimples, the dimples being arranged in lines radiating from a center of the seal face. |
