PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a velocity sensor in which a normal direction of one patch antenna disposed on a mounting substrate and an optical axis of a dielectric lens are aligned that uses a trestle to tilt a sensor module for obtaining a cos&thetas; component in a direction of travel when being installed on a horizontal/vertical surface in a vehicle or a train vehicle.SOLUTION: When a beam is condensed by using one patch antenna and a shell shaped dielectric lens, the dielectric lens is tilted, and a lens bottom face part is cut in a plane parallel to an antenna mounting substrate surface. The one patch antenna is constituted of a patch and a GND electrode, and a gain center of radiation characteristics is an antenna substrate normal direction and is of roughly semi- spherical wave shaped radiation characteristics. |
