PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism in which lactic acid transporter genes are overexpressed and lactic acid decompositions are suppressed, and to provide a lactic acid production method using the microorganism.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a microorganism improved lactic acid productivity, which improves lactic acid productivity when lactic acid transporters, which are proteins transporting lactic acids to inside or outside of cells, are overexpressed. And when lactic acid oxidase activity is suppressed and pyruvate decarboxylase activity is suppressed, the lactic acid productivity is improved. When transformation microorganisms produced by such means are used, a lactic acid production yield can be improved to be used in very useful and industrial applications.
