PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operation for retreat of a front wheel drive cycle rationally.SOLUTION: A cycle comprises: right and left side pedals 2, 2 assembled to a fork 3 supporting a front wheel 1 so as to reciprocate freely in a vertical direction; right and left side free wheels 5, 6 assembled to a horizontal shaft 4 supported by the fork 3 on the front wheel 1; a left side link member 7 linking the left side pedal 2 and the left side free wheel 5; a right side link member 8 linking the right side pedal 2 and the right side free wheel 6; a drive side gear 9 disposed on the horizontal shaft 4 so as to perform normal rotation and reverse rotation around the horizontal shaft 4; clutch means 10 for the horizontal shaft 4 and the drive side gear 9; a lower free wheel 12 disposed on a hub 11 of the front wheel 1; and a chain 13 wound between the drive side gear 9 and the lower free wheel 12. |
