PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium playback device that allows a simple operation to flexibly change a repeat starting point and a repeat ending point in recording medium playback devices having a repeat playback function.SOLUTION: When a repeat playback instruction is input from an instruction input part, a control part of the recording medium playback device sets a repeat starting point and a repeat ending point determining a repeat playback segment, and a repeat intermediate point serving as an intermediate point between the repeat starting point and the repeat ending point on the basis of a preliminary set repeat playback time length, and starts a repeat playback operation. When a medium playback part has a further repeat playback instruction input from the instruction input part during operating a repeat playback of a content between the repeat starting point and the repeat intermediate point, the control part moves the repeat starting point in a forward direction by a predetermined time length, and thereby sets the repeat playback time length to be longer. |
