PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method of a solar cell panel failed which can respond to change in solar radiation conditions with time, change in solar radiation conditions by season, and even to change in solar radiation conditions due to acquired causes, e.g., construction of a new facility, or dirt of solar cell panel.SOLUTION: A solar cell panel monitoring program performs status information acquisition processing for acquiring the status information of a solar cell panel for each solar cell panel and storing the status information in a storage unit in association with the position of a solar cell panel, a panel group setting processing (steps S11-S18) for determining at least one reference solar cell panel from a plurality of solar cell panels, and creating a same trend panel group for each reference solar cell panel by bundling the solar cell panels having such status information that the difference from the status information of the reference solar cell panel is within a predetermined range, and fault panel detection processing for detecting a solar cell panel, the time change of status information of which is larger than a preset threshold, as a fault panel, out of the solar cell panels belonging to the same group. |
