<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shockproof center wheel which is capable of preventing a gear train and/or a rotor from breaking, by absorbing energy due to a shock without affecting the design of hands.SOLUTION: A shockproof wheel 1 of a timepiece drives a component having non-zero unbalance relative to an axial line D of the wheel 1. The wheel 1 includes an arbor 2 for pivotally guiding the wheel 1 about the axial line D, driving means 7 disposed or assembled on a flange 8 of the wheel 1, and at least one flexible element 9 between the arbor 2 and the flange 8. The flange 8 includes a cylindrical shoulder, and the cylindrical shoulder is brought into contact with a complementary cylindrical shoulder of the arbor 2 and cooperates with the complementary cylindrical shoulder for the purpose of centering to ensure the perfect concentricity of the driving means 7 with the arbor 2.</p> |
