<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus which can prevent the amount of developer to be conveyed from being changed due to developer stuck on a tip surface of a regulation member, and to provide an image forming apparatus including the developing apparatus, and a process cartridge.SOLUTION: A developing apparatus 4 includes: a developing roller 42 having a convexo-concave surface; and a doctor blade 45 for regulating the amount of toner T which comes into contact with a surface of the developing roller 42 and moves toward a developing areaα. The doctor blade 45 is a cantilevered plate-like member. An edge part 45e, which is one free-end of the blade and a contact side orthogonal to a surface moving direction of the developing roller 42, is brought into contact with the developing roller 42. A value of surface roughness in a direction orthogonal to the edge part 45e in a tip surface, such as a tip surface 45a, out of two surfaces forming the edge part 45e, is equal to or smaller than a value of surface roughness in a direction orthogonal to the edge part 45e in an opposite surface 45b, which is an opposite surface forming the edge part 45e.</p> |
