PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate user's feeling of discomfort due to a delay in display, by reducing a display delay time when an image being captured is displayed on a display apparatus.SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus comprises: a first image reduction unit for reducing an output image of an imaging device; a storage unit for storing an image reduced by the first image reduction unit; an external output unit for outputting an image stored in the storage unit; a display unit for displaying an image being captured; a second image reduction unit for reducing the image reproduced by the first image reduction unit to the size of the display unit without storing the image in the storage unit; and a signal processing unit for display unit which performs signal processing on the image reduced to the size of the display unit. |
