PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device capable of easily restoring a float even if the float contacts a tank inner wall. ! SOLUTION: The liquid level detection device includes: a float 2 whose position is moved up and down in response to a height of a liquid level of a liquid fuel inside a tank; an arm 3 whose top end is attached with the float 2 and rotating around an axis line of a rotary shaft in response to upward and downward movements of the float 2; a support part for rotatably supporting the arm 3; and a detection part for detecting a rotation angle around the axis line of the arm 3 for calculating the height of the liquid level. The arm 3 is inserted into an insertion hole 21 of the float 2 and holds the float 2 in a state of being prevented from coming off from the insertion hole, and the float 2 can move back and forth in a direction of the rotating axis line X with respect to the arm 3 in its holding state. !
