PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging element capable of improving light collection efficiency of light incident from outside and preventing color mixing.SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging element comprises: a semiconductor substrate 1 including a first surface and a second surface facing the first surface; a light-receiving unit 2 provided inside the semiconductor substrate 1; an optical waveguide unit 7 provided on the first surface in the semiconductor substrate 1, facing the light-receiving unit 2; a color filter 8 provided on a surface on the side opposite to the surface facing the light-receiving unit 2 of the optical waveguide unit 7; and a side wall film continuously covering a side surface of the optical waveguide unit 7 and a side surface of the color filter 8. |
