PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: umbrella ribs and stretchers which can be assembled easily without effort and can be efficiently manufactured; and an umbrella using the umbrella ribs and stretchers.SOLUTION: A rib 10 is provided with a pivot support part 13 bent in a loop shape between a first rib part 11 close to a top notch 200 and a second rib part 12 far from the top notch 200. A stretcher 20 is provided with a pivot connection part 22 folded back in a loop shape to have a pivot connection hole 221 connected to a pivot support hole 131 in a penetrating and crossing manner so as to be pivotally connected to the pivot support part 13.
