PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing material also serving as throating, which can be attached even to a dust sweeping window with a shutter and a sash of a size larger than usual, and which can improve an appearance of a window sash and designability of the whole exterior wall.SOLUTION: An external facing material 1 also serving as throating is attached to a side surface part of a sill 12 arranged on a building foundation 10. A third stationary part 7 abutting on the sill 12 via a substrate material 14 along a longitudinal direction is formed in a decorative part 5 of the external facing material 1 in such a manner as to protrude toward the side of the sill 12. A tip part of a bottom surface part 6 elongated to the side of the sill 12 along a lower edge of the decorative part 5 is provided in the state of being inclined upward not to be engaged with the sill 12.
