PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of an irregular shape and process trouble of a porous membrane, in manufacture of a porous membrane precursor having a process of traveling by introducing the porous membrane precursor into a heating container.SOLUTION: When heating a hollow fiber membrane precursor (the porous membrane precursor) 30 formed by coagulation of a membrane manufacturing raw liquid including a hydrophilic polymer and a hydrophobic polymer, by traveling by introducing into a heating container 11, the hollow fiber membrane precursor 30 is made to travel in the heating container 11 by travel means having driving rolls 14a and 14e provided in the heating container 11, and in this case, tension added to the hollow fiber membrane precursor 30 traveling on the more upstream side than the driving roll 14a arranged on the most upstream side among the driving rolls 14a and 14e, is detected by tension detection means 40. A rotating speed of the driving roll 14a arranged on the most upstream side, is controlled by control means 50 according to a detected detection result. |
