PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric washing machine that can reduce a feeling that an opening/closing door is projecting.SOLUTION: The electric washing machine 1 has: a housing 10; a rotary tub in the housing 10; a clothing input port 20 which is disposed on the front face of the housing 10 and through which clothing is input to and output from a rotary tub; and an opening/closing door 40 that opens/closes the clothing input port 20. The opening/closing door 40 is provided in the electric washing machine 1 in such a manner as to be equipped with: a level difference reducing member 60 arranged in a periphery of the clothing input port 20; a notch 61 formed on the level difference reducing member 60; and a handle arranged on the opening/closing door 40 at a position corresponding to that of the notch 61. |
