PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor maintenance alarm device capable of informing a worker that a footstep opening part is located in a forward-side part in a moving path of a footstep circular body. ! SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor maintenance alarm device includes: an acceleration sensor 213 provided in a footstep opening part 141 formed by removing a part of footsteps 13 from a footstep circular body 14 having multiple footsteps 13 circularly connected with each other; a controlling device 212 for determining whether or not the footstep opening part 141 is located in a forward-side part in a moving path of the footstep circular body 14 by using a measurement result of the acceleration sensor 213; and a speaker 211 warning on the basis of the determination result of the controlling device 212. !
