PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which, when charge/discharge is performed in a condition accompanying high current charge/discharge, an I-V resistance value is reduced, and thereby output characteristics are improved.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to one aspect of the present invention includes a positive electrode plate on which a positive electrode mixture layer containing a positive electrode active material is formed, a negative electrode plate, a separator and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode active material is a nickel-containing lithium transition metal composite oxide represented by composition formula: LiNiMO(where, M represents one element selected from the group consisting of Co, Mn and Al, and 0.9<x<1.2 and 0.3<y<1.0) are satisfied), and at least one of the positive electrode mixture layer and the nonaqueous electrolyte contains a coupling agent. |
