The invention relates to a gravity foundation for an offshore structure, especially for a wind turbine, comprising a prestressed concrete footing (2) supporting a hollow concrete shaft. The footing (2) has a plurality of legs and comprises load bearing zones spaced apart from the concrete shaft and located on the outer ends of the footing (2).
