PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device capable of not only displaying a good three-dimensional image which can be observed by naked eyes of an observer, but also displaying a good two-dimensional image when displaying a two-dimentional image.SOLUTION: A display device 10 comprises a display LCD panel 13; a light source portion 11; and a lens sheet 12, which is disposed between the display LCD panel 13 and the light source portion 11, and on one surface of which a plurality of unit lenses 121 are aligned. When displaying a three-dimensional image, the display LCD panel 13 displays two or more parallax images switching them with a predetermined period. The light source portion 11 synchronizes with the switching of the images displayed by the display LCD panel 13 to emit light from predetermined dots corresponding to the parallax images, and the lens sheet emits light in predetermined directions corresponding to the parallax images from the unit lenses. When displaying a two-dimensional image, the display LCD panel 13 displays a two-dimensional image, and the light source portion 11 emits light from all dots. |
