The display assembly (10) has the transparent display portions (14,16) that are arranged on both sides of a transparent substrate layer (12). The transparent display portions are arranged such that the individual light-emitting elements (18) and transparent areas are arranged congruently to each other in substrate layer. A blocking layer (22) is formed between the respective light emitting elements. The emitted light from the light emitting elements is radiated only in the substrate layer in opposite direction. A filter layer (28) is arranged in front of display portion.
