PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer for functional thin film formation and a functional thin film formation method which enable a fine patterning of a functional thin film to be printed with high quality and little foreign objects.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a plate cylinder 105; a positioning surface plate 106; and an ink supply mechanism 109. The ink supply mechanism 109 comprises: an anilox roll 101 which supplies an ink stored in an ink chamber 108 to a relief printing plate 104; a doctor roll 102 in which the anilox roll 101 is pressed in a direction of the cylindrical plate cylinder 105, the doctor roll 102 which scrapes and drops the excess ink on the anilox roll pressed thereto; and a pressing roll 110 which is provided so as to press a center part of a peripheral surface of the doctor roll 102. |
