PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plating treatment method for an electrothermal material member capable of reliably enhancing adhesion force between the electrothermal material member and a plated coat formed on the surface thereof. ! SOLUTION: There is provided a plating treatment method in which a plating coat is formed on the surface of an electrothermal material member. Plating treatment is applied to the electrothermal material member having 8 atom% or less in oxygen concentration of the surface. Moreover, the oxygen concentration of the surface of the electrothermal material member is made 8 atom% or less by applying etching treatment as pre-treatment of the plating treatment. !
