The present invention relates to a battery regeneration apparatus and a battery regeneration method. The battery regeneration apparatus for charging and regenerating a battery set in which a plurality of batteries are connected in series according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a power source part for supplying power to the battery set; a charging switching part for switching to supply the charging power of the power source part to the battery set; a pulse generation part for supplying a regeneration pulse signal to overlap with the output of the charging switching part for regenerating the battery set; a discharging switching part for switching to discharge the charged power of the battery set; a battery state detection part for detecting the state of each battery of the battery set; and a charging regeneration control part for controlling the charging switching part, the pulse generation part and the discharging switching part according to the detection result of the battery state detection part. The charging regeneration control part can increase a battery regeneration rate by controlling the charging switching part to output an on-control signal and the pulse generation part to output the regeneration pulse signal so as to charge and regenerate the battery set. |
